APS said the tool requires them to shut off power if extreme fire weather conditions occur, including hot temperatures and low humidity. Pile Burning Planned in Prescott Basin April 22nd - May 31st Published on April 18, 2024 PRESCOTT, AZ, April 17, 2024 - Fire Managers on the Bradshaw Ranger District plan to conduct prescribed fire operations in the Prescott Basin (Ponderosa Park, Copper Basin, Walker Road, and Deering Park), burning debris piles from hazardous fuels reduction and thinning projects.
